“Spacious and comfortable”

We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin in the Smokey Mountains. The views from the decks were stunning, and we enjoyed stargazing at night from the hot tub! The cabin is spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms that were clean and well-stocked with all the amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, and the living room had a fireplace and a TV for relaxing! The location was perfect for exploring the nearby trails and is quite close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge where there’s lots of action to be found. We hiked to a waterfall (Middle Prong Trail), visited a historic cabin (Walker Sisters’), and saw some wildlife along the way. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the beautiful Smokies!

“Make the trip truly special”

This was our first trip to the Smokey Mountains and we couldn’t have had a better experience! This cabin helped make the trip truly special! The views are outstanding and the layout is perfect for families- as it allows for an entertainment area downstairs with the spare bed and private bath, and a tv/fireplace etc upstairs for a more quiet or peaceful evening. Our children (7 and 9) were thrilled with the cabin and called it “paradise”. The owners listing is accurate and you can tell they put a lot of care and thought into this property. The owners gave perfect instructions and wonderful recommendations that added to our trips success and memories.

Everything about this cabin was perfect from the incredible view, centralized location, peacefulness of the surroundings, comfortable beds, hot tub, cleanliness, and the list goes on.

Melinda was also an amazing host and provided tons of recommendations on things to do and places to eat in the area.

We will stay here again when we return to the Great Smoky Mountains area.

“Everything is built first class”

Melinda,… There are no words to say how fabulous every single detail. We have rented cabins in the mountains for well over 35 years and your cabin is the best. The thought and time and effort and money you and Rob put into making this cabin special is reflected in every room. I love the floor plan, for starters. The window treatments and the furniture and the rugs and the bedding and the lamps and the appliances and how well everything is built first class, it’s just too much to try to put into words. I love the story of the table. When you say you spared no expense, I know that …you spared no expense. We loved the gas stove with the wonderful griddle down the middle. Tommy made us breakfast on it. Tommy and I got a good laugh from your wonderful KitchenAid dishwasher. Some sound like a thrashing machine and we had to listen closely to make sure yours was running. 🤣 … The downstairs television and sound system is absolutely amazing. We enjoyed that so much. As much as we enjoy puttering around the mountains, we found ourselves anxious to get back to the cabin just to enjoy a beautiful quiet afternoon and sunset. The little embroidered piece hanging on the wall in the upstairs bathroom is so precious and brings back sweet memories. Many things in your cabin brought back good memories for us. I know I have darted all over the place trying to express our appreciation and admiration for what you two have put together, and amazing effort so that you already have the cabin rebuilt. Melinda, we absolutely love the resin rocking chairs on your porch.

“Hands down the best place to stay in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. Melinda and Rob have put so much love and care into their cabin and provide the best mountain cabin experience. Gorgeous doesn’t seem to quite cover the view you have from the cabin. The place is immaculate and the personal homey touches makes your stay incredible. This is the place to stay folks!

A truly wonderful experience on a mountaintop facing the Smokey mountains. Melinda and Rob did a fabulous job of designing this place. From the luxurious towels, to the appliances and finishes, to the board games- no stone was left unturned. I will miss my early morning cup of coffee on the balcony watching the sun rise over the Smokey’s. We were lucky enough to see several bears too! Will hopefully be back soon! A+++

This new cabin is beyond fabulous! Amazing views & a perfect space. Our family of 5 enjoyed playing games together at the kitchen table, watching TV in the comfy chairs downstairs (adding a couple ottomans would make them extra comfy!) but also had enough space for us to spread out & have some quiet time as well. The location is perfect being so close to the National Park, Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. The drive up to the cabin was a little scary the first time (with us being from the flat midwest) & then the first time in the dark felt scary as well. After that it was fine & our 10 year old minivan had no problems. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone! If you are looking for complete peace & quiet, make sure the construction below is finished because those hard workers worked 7 days a week (including Sunday, the 4th of July!) up to 10 hours/day! Melinda was beyond fabulous with her communication with me & the ideas she gave me of things we could do. I added her ideas into our trip & everyone loved it!

Melinda’s place was great! We were looking for somewhere to stay that had an amazing goal and this one had just that plus some. It was an easy drive up the mountain.. which is something we were worried about. We did bring our truck but I’m sure our car would she made it up just fine. The location was perfect for us.. close to many things! We went to Gatlinburg, pigeon forge and surrounding areas. Dollywood is a must as is Anakeesta if you are looking for things to do outside of the house. We enjoyed drinking our coffee on the porches and I found myself drinking more coffee than usually as an excuse to sit in the chair and watch the fog over the mountains. Responses were quick and we had an awesome welcoming email that really broke everything down for us and was helpful.

What a beautiful cabin. Easy access, smooth parking. Beautiful views. Amazing hot tub. Fireplaces warmed the home nicely. Fully stocked kitchen. Easy access to Pigeon Forge. Couldn’t ask for a better cabin. Planning a family reunion later this year to get both this cabin and their other cabin the Patriot (Dream).

Mindy and Rob are excellent hosts! I needed somewhere to stay when I evacuated for Hurricane Ida, and I’m so glad I got their cabin. First of all, the cabin is beautiful and very much a home away from home. I highly recommend it for longer stays, because it has so many extras like an exercise bike and a full-size washer and dryer. I slept really well too, despite all my anxiety over the hurricane. Secondly, getting there was easy breezy — no harrowing switchbacks or hidden driveways! Third, Mindy and Rob are superb hosts. The cabin was spotless, and they were so sweet and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This cabin is a little slice of mountaintop heaven! It is a perfect, clean, and cozy space to enjoy the mountains and surrounding attractions for the week. We enjoyed the coziness, cleanliness, very easy check-in and check-out instructions, as well as excellent communication from our host. The views from the two porches were beautiful and we often found ourselves leaving one space to go enjoy beauty at another space. I was impressed at the cleanliness of the hot tub which we often don’t use because they are gross. The host empties and cleans after each guest!! That is a level of cleanliness I’ve never seen but very much appreciate! We would stay here again in another season just to see the views! This is a great cabin and you will love it here!

We stayed here for our Thanksgiving Week and it couldn’t be anymore perfect. The location was awesome & the view from cabin was magnificent. Instructions provided my Melinda & Rob was spot on.Cabin was absolutely amazing & sparkling clean, made us feel right at home. It was a pleasant stay & memorable trip all together!

The stay was great and Melinda was a great host! She communicated well before during and after. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some which is always a plus! The hot tub was perfect for the longer days and the jacuzzi tub had an amazing view you can’t beat! We are definitely pleased with our stay!

Stop spending hours of your time looking at homes to stay at, just book this home! Our stay was honestly perfect. Every detail is covered, check in was a breeze, and communication is top notch. That’s not even bringing up the incredible view this place offers from almost every room. Internet is business speed fast, and many tv viewing options if interested. We loved how the kitchen has everything we needed to cook a meal. Most places don’t have the simple things like salt and pepper or cooking spray. This home has all your bases covered. The owners go as far as to leave you tips around the home to help you operate certain things that may not be obvious to some. Just A+ all around, probably best rental experience we’ve had.

We visited Top of The Mountain in early March for almost a week and our visit was wonderful. Our hosts went above board in making sure the home is comfortable and has all the amenities one might need. We only used one bedroom but both rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The hot tub is awesome and along with the decks has an amazing views of the mountains. The kitchen is well stocked and as a cook I really appreciated and enjoyed it. The suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants provided by our hosts were perfect . They were also easy to reach when we had a couple questions. We so enjoyed our stay and hope to return again to this wonderful home, it was just what we were looking for. Thanks again.

We stayed here in June and loved every minute! The cabin is beautiful and warm and welcoming! Perfect for a family mountain getaway! The owner was delightful and always answered any questions immediately. The cabin was spotless and had everything we could have needed. Wonderfully comfortable beds and a great hot tub to unwind after a day out with the kids! This was also my first AirBnB experience and I could not have been happier to find this jewel of a home and it’s wonderful owners!

This cabin was amazing. It is less than a year old and everything was fresh and new. It even smelled brand new. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need (if you want more than salt and pepper bring it or buy it). Melinda gave me a heads up on that so we brought our own. The beds were comfortable, even the downstairs pull out. The view out the back was nice… The drive up the mountain was curvy but the road was plenty wide for my minivan. The location was great for our family. If we plan another trip to the Smokies we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin, amazing view, cleanest airbnb we have ever been in. Location is good and road up to it isn’t that scary after the first time you drive it. Can’t go wrong staying here highly recommend it!

This cabin has breath taking views and the hot tub was perfect after a day of exploring the mountains. This cabin was very clean and is a perfect place to just get away or spend time with family or friends. Melinda and Rob were exceptional hosts. “Top of the Mountain to You” is an interesting mix of “rustic cabin” decor combined with top of the line modern convenience and luxury features. The cabin is in a great location–removed from the traffic and crowds of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg while at the same time having easy access to those cities and other local attractions including the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin is extremely well supplied with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Melinda and her husband Rob were super responsive to any questions and requests. Communications both prior to and during our stay were outstanding. The view of the valley and mountains is unforgettable.

We have made three trips to Tennessee and by far this is the best cabin we have stayed at. Great location far enough away from the strip to enjoy the peace and beauty of the smokies but still close enough to all attractions. The cabin has a great layout, perfect for a family with kids. The games were a perfect touch for nighttime activities and the jacuzzi was just the right size to kick back and relax and enjoy the views. Highly recommend staying at this cabin, we will definitely want to stay here again when we visit Tennessee.

Cabin is as pictured! Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to be there in about 15 minutes! The kitchen has pretty much everything you need to cook your meals there! Hot tub was nice and hot!
